Emilio Ramos (he/they) is a theatre director and creative collaborator based in New York City.
Recently, he directed the Off-Broadway revival of See What I Wanna See at Theatre 154. Currently, they are the Associate Director of Maybe Happy Ending on Broadway, the U.S. tour of Parade, and the New York City engagement of Vanya, starring Andrew Scott.
Other Associate Director credits include the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Parade, New York City Center’s acclaimed Encores! production of The Light in the Piazza, the world premiere of The Preacher’s Wife, and developmental work sessions for Black Swan, The Lost Boys and The Queen of Versailles. Emilio is also on adjunct faculty at NYU Steinhardt.
He is represented by Skyler Gray at The Gersh Agency and a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC).
Emilio is mixed-race Filipino and Anglo-Australian. They are non-binary / gender non-conforming and use he/they pronouns interchangeably. He lives in Manhattan with their partner and their one-eyed dog, Sebastian.
